This is the first time ordering and using Accu-check compact glucose meter kit, and absulutely the best meters are accu-check. Ilike having the ability to keep the lancet right with the meter. That way no matter whats going on im ready to go. This make testing so easy when groggy, or drinking. I personally feel this is the most accurate meter on the market. The screen is very easy to read(however, read note below). As another poster said, you can recall a 7 day, 14 day, and a 30 day BG average (press M once to turn the meter on, then hold M and S together to get a 7 day average hold them down again for a 14 day average and so on). I have just ordered the usb cord, and this will allow for the last 500 readings to uploaded. Just awesome.

This a great kit. The meter comes with a high quality lancing insturment that has a number of settings for depth. This is just a all around easy to use device at a great price.

This meter is very accurate. I did not quite think that it was small enough to be called "compact", but it works great. Not having to load the strips by hand is fantastic
