Novolin 70/30 is an over-the-counter medication used for controlling blood sugar in people with diabetes. It contains a short-acting insulin (regular insulin) and an intermediate-acting insulin (NPH insulin). The medicine is injected just under the skin twice a day, usually about 30 minutes before meals.

Novolin 70/30 Insulin Features:

Mixture of 2 insulins: Regular insulin (Novlin R) and NPH insulin (Novolin N insulin) for better onset and duration of action.
Rapid Onset: action starts in 30 minutes and reaches its peak in about 2 hours.
Long Duration: action lasts up to 24 hours.

Includes:

10 ml vial of Novolin 70/30 Diabetic Insulin(100 units/ml).

Notes & Specifications:

Use with U-100 insulin syringes only.
Shake carefully before use.
Keep in a cold place.
Do not store in freezer or anywhere that will freeze the contents.
For dosage and administration follow your medical care provider instructions.
