I am 47 years old and still very active after my cancers. This pump is perfect for those patients who are bedridden or in a wheelchair. If the pump is not stablized on a flat surface or attached to an IV pole, it will stop pumping and sound the alarm. This is very frustrating! It is difficult to keep upright while driving a car. Every turn causes it to tip over and stop pumping. On bumpy roads it stops and alarms. While riding my motorcycle, leaning into turns stops the pump, and any jarring on straight-a-ways stops it. I've had this pump for just a couple months shy of two years, and it no longer holds a charge. After the first six months of usage, it started making annoying squeaks, gear grinding, and unnecessary beeps during operation. It makes it hard for my wife and me to fall asleep, hear the TV, enjoy orchestral concerts, and many other activities requiring silence. |
