All Adults Over 45 Should Be Screened for Diabetes
New recommendations from the Preventive Services Task Force has suggested that all adults that are older than 45 years of age be screened for diabetes. The new recommendations were released during early October. The Preventative Services Task Force is a panel of experts that is sponsored by the government and is made up of providers of primary care. The new advice is suggesting that people should have high blood sugar levels diagnosed before the condition develops in to diabetes.
