Benefits of Grapefruit for Diabetics
Grapefruit – you either love it or you hate it. It first came to existence in the 18th century, from a cross between the pomelo and an orange. They certainly don’t taste like grapes, but were given the name because of the way they grow in clusters on the tree, like a bunch of grapes on a vine. There are now many varieties of grapefruit, ranging in color from white, yellow, and pink to red, and the taste is also varied. Some are sweeter than others, and some are rather acidic and bitter.
