States That Have Highest Population of Diabetes Patients

In the United States, diabetes ranks as one of the top health conditions that affect the population. In spite of this, diabetes is often ignored by patients and is often undiagnosed by doctors. The latest statistics on diabetes from the CDC indicates that there are approximately 30 million people, or close to 10% of the United States population that has diabetes as of 2012. The CDC also estimates that roughly 30% of the people that have diabetes have not been diagnosed with the condition. In just a few years since 2010, these numbers have increased.
