Diabetes and Ginger

For hundreds of years, ginger has been used in cooking and natural medicine, particularly in Asia. With a strong spicy flavor, ginger is commonly used in drinks, meals, and even as a fragrance for candles and soaps. The most common medicinal use for ginger is as an herbal treatment for indigestion and stomach upsets, but researchers have discovered ginger may be useful in the treatment of diabetes.
