Blood Sugar Is Not Impacted By Foods With Sucralose
In recent years, health advocates have debated much about the effects of artificial sweeteners on diabetes for diabetic patients that use them. A new study now shows that desserts that are sweetened with sucralose don't have any impact on blood sugar levels. Sucralose is commonly sold to the public as the artificial sweetener Splenda and unlike sugar, sucralose is not broken down by the body to be used for energy.
