Certain Saturated Fatty Acids Can Increase the Risk for Diabetes
A study was recently published in the journal called Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology that indicated that the relationship between saturated fat and type 2 diabetes could depend on the type of saturated fat that was consumed. Saturated fatty acids have been known to play a role in either decreasing or increasing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
