A Higher Risk of Neuropathy with Diabetes from Sleep Apnea

For anyone that has sleep apnea, they are aware of just how uncomfortable it can be to get a good night sleep. However, OSA or obstructive sleep apnea has been linked with patients that have type 2 diabetes and causing a severe presence of neuropathy. Those with type 2 diabetes and or OSA are already at great risk for many other health complications. Many even sleep with aid of medical equipment in order to provide them with oxygen to help them sleep better.
