Medi-Fridge's Micro-Refrigerator comes complete with a solid-state internal digital thermostat and is designed to refrigerate vials of medicine, including Lantus, Humulin and Humalog, and prefilled pens such as Forteo and Byetta (Exenatide), filled with other injectable medicines. It has the capacity to hold as many as 6 standard 10 milliliter injectable/insulin medicine vials or 2 prefilled injectable pens. The Micro-Refrigerator's compact design and lightweight construction make it both strong and portable and perfect for travel or for use outdoors, at work or even in your vehicle, while keeping your medicines cool at temperatures that are safe for them. It comes equipped with both a 12 volt DC power cord for your car or truck and a UL certified 110-240 volt AC domestic power cord suitable for worldwide use. The Micro-Refrigerator takes advantage of thermoelectric technology to cool at a temperature 40 degrees below ambient temperature and has a factory setting that turns it off automatically when it reaches 40 degrees so the medicines won't freeze. The low noise fan makes for quiet operation, with an LED display to indicate the Micro-Refrigerator is operating, and the magnetic lid makes for a tight seal to ensure the cool temperature inside is maintained and the medicines protected.
