ConvaTec Carboflex, is a five-layer odor control dressing specifically designed for managing problems associated with malodorous wounds. The sterile dressing is suggested for shallow wounds. For deeper wounds, it is indicated as a secondary dressing for use with a wound filler. A smooth, flexible, water-resistant outer film sleeve keeps the inner layer dry, while a soft, nonadhesive wound contact layer conforms comfortably to the wound site. The double-knit, activated charcoal cloth layer provides effective odor absorption.
